o Inherited G20 model build becomes productionised and sales increase.
o Lawrence sets about raising the profile of the existing Junior championship.
2007
o Damon Hill is guest of honour to open new Ginetta factory in Leeds
o G50 model plans announced to mark the 50th anniversary of Ginetta cars.
2008
o Ginetta Cars was awarded ‘Small Business of the Year’ by the Motorsport Industry Association
o G50 launched at Autosport Show
o G50 wins Autosport ‘Car of the Year’ award
o The Ginetta G50 Cup championship launch placed on SRO package supporting F3/BGT racing.
o Global G50 sales achieved
o G50 enters and wins GT4 championships.
2009
o Ginetta Junior Championship and G50 Cup join TOCA package as support races for the BTCC
o G50 wins European GT4
o G50 prototype developed as road car and John Surtees makes history at the wheel of the first car ever to be driven through the Euro Tunnel. Project lacks government backing and is shelved.
o G20 production halts, replacement G40 model plans announced
o Duel spec G40 design begins
2010
o G40 launched at Autosport Show
o G40 wins Autosport ‘Car of the Year’ award
o G40 Ginetta Challenge Championship launched on SRO package supporting F3/BGT racing.
o The left-hand drive version of the G50 was launched at the Nurburgring’s ‘GT4 European Cup’
o Adrian Newey famously crashes a G50 at Oulton Park
o G55 announced and design begins
o Farbio Supercars LTD acquired and rebranded Ginetta F400
o G40 road car plans announced (project name G40R).
o G40R prototype wins Britcar 24hr class outright -11th overall- at Silverstone
2011
o G55 launched at Autosport Show
o Duel class G50 & G55 Ginetta GT Supercup Championship launched encompassing the G50 Cup
o Lawrence secures a funded prize drive in the 2012 BTCC for 2011 Ginetta GT Supercup winner
o F400 gets development plan to be re-launched under a new ‘G’ number at the end of 2011 o G55 homologated for GT3
o G55 GT3 spec in design for launch 2011
